Outside rides
Would you like to enjoy and explore the beautiful Swedish nature on the horseback? Then an outside trail with a guide is a good idea!
We have several possibilities for all levels of riders.
The Beginners Experience is a walking trail in the woods.
This trail is suitable for people with little or even no experience and also for children. With small children, there is always someone walking with them or we ask a parent (if they are not riding) to walk along. It is in a flat area (not in the mountains).
After brushing and saddling the horse you’ll get a small riding lesson in the paddock. If everything feels right for both you and the guide, you’ll go for a ride outside through the beautiful forests and nature in the ‘ backyard ‘ of the ranch.
Price per person
495 SEK 2 -2½ hours activity and you’ll ride at least 1 hour, including the introduction lesson.

The Mountain Trail is a guided trail in the mountains for riders with riding experience. It is necessary that you can independently ride in a gallop.
After you’ve got your horse, brushed and saddled, you’ll get a riding lesson in the riding paddock so you will learn the basics of western riding and know how it will work in the mountains. If it feels right for the rider and the guide you are going to the mountains for a nice ride with some nice gallop on the mountain and with breathtaking views.
Price per person
550 SEK 3-3 ½ hours activity and you’ll ride at least 2 hours, including the riding lesson.

The Sunset Trail is a trail during the sunset. It is necessary that you have riding experience and that you can do a gallop independently.
After you’ve got your horse, brushed and saddled, you’ll get a riding lesson in the riding paddock so you will learn the basics of western riding and know how it works in the mountains. If it feels right for the rider and the guide you are going to the mountains for an exciting ride with gallop up the mountain and hopefully with wonderful views over the river and a beautiful sunset. We’ll go through narrow rocky paths and come through a nature reserve with much chance to see wildlife. They start to ‘ walk around ‘ as soon as the sun goes down!
Price per person
495 SEK 2 ½-3 hours activity and you’ll ride at least 1 ½ hours, including riding lesson
In July and August; every Thursday evening. Bookable even beyond this period.

The Day Trail is a day ride with 2 x 2 hours of riding and with picnic by the water. It is necessary that you have riding experience and can do a gallop on your own.
After you’ve got your horse, brushed and saddled, you’ll get a riding lesson in the riding paddock so you will learn the basics of western riding and know how it works in the mountains. If it feels right for the rider and the guide, you are going to the mountains for a challenging day trail with gallop up the mountain on beautiful paths and with beautiful views. The trail goes through various types of terrain and little rivers and challenging climbs and very steep descents! On a small fire at the picnic area you can toast your sandwiches that you made during the breakfast buffet in the morning. You’ll get a drink and fruit, but also a snack to take with you. All of that goes in the saddlebag.

Horse Experience Day Trail with swimming with the horses
We have found a new safe spot to swim with the horses again.
2 Years ago they took away the dam from the lake where we normally swim with the horses. The waterlevel went down like 2 meters and from then it was unsafe to swim there because of the many stones that showed up.
We have now found a new spot so we can offer you ‘Swimming with the horses’ again. But it all depends on the weather of course. One of the crew comes with the car to the swimming place. He/she brings your lunch, towel, swimming clothes and watershoes.
Price per person
1.450 SEK. The activity is from 10 am to 5 pm including lunch, minimum 4 hours of horse riding, swimming, extra snacks for the lunch and possibility for parents & family to come along to the picknick and swimplace (by car).

For all horse activities:
- You’ll go together with the guide into the field to get your own horse, brush your horse and help with the saddling. In this way you can make contact and get used to your horse. It is for both rider and horse more relaxed if you do this yourself.
- After saddling everyone gets information about the western riding so that you know the basics before you go outside riding. You’ll learn to stear with your legs and weight and learn neck reining, stearing through the neck. All the ranch horses are ridden without a bridle!
- Wearing a riding helmet is required. Everyone should also sign an own risk form before joining an activity.
- There are enough caps/helmets, chaps, wax jackets and saddle bags at the ranch that you can borrow.
- Maximum 90 kg and minimum 140 cm high.
- Make sure you wear long pants and good shoes for all riding activities!
