Ranch weekend

Do you want to experience life on a ranch but also experience the luxury of a mini vacation? Gain insight into a free-living herd and enjoy Swedish nature from the horse’s back. Then the ranch weekend is for you!

The houses are available on Friday from 4 pm. You can leave your stuff and freshen up from the trip. We start at 6 pm with an outdoor meal around the campfire where we can get to know the fellow participants. Afterwards we have a small tour, introduction to the herd and already a first horsemanship lesson.

Saturday we have breakfast at 8am and at 8:30am we help with feeding and caring for the horses. This lasts until about 10am.

Then we go back into the herd for some deepening in behavior and dealing with the horses and awareness of our own body language. We work hand-in-hand with the horses and explore the obstacles in the trail park with them while learning and playing.

We have lunch outside around the campfire.

After lunch we saddle up the horses and have extensive western riding lessons in the paddock. Then we will ride the obstacles in the trail park, with the rule: what doesn’t work with the horse on the line, we won’t do either while riding.

For dinner there is another delicious meal on the menu. If interested, there is a line dance workshop in the evening.

Sunday we have breakfast again at 8 am and at 8.30 am we help to take care of the horses again.

At 10 am we go get the horses for a nice ride outside. We have one more lunch before it’s time to leave.
