Human Nature

Human Nature – A Shamanic Journey with Celtic sweat lodge – 3-9 July 2022

Join us for a week of deep nature immersion, natural movement, breath work, community and exploration of your human essence, all embraced by a serene and beautiful location.

Connect To Your Human / Nature

There is a calling within our hearts to connect deeper to our human nature. A calling to wake up to the sounds of the wild natural world and lightly tread on the soft damp earth at dawn with our bare feet.
To move naturally, breathe deeply and to embrace our own presence, in tune with the lush wilderness of Earth and our hearts.

We invite you to join us on a journey to the simplest form of being we know. A place and space to connect to the playful essence of your human nature.

We’re offering you the opportunity to wake up your body, your senses and your aliveness fully.
This is an immersion into nature where you will learn the foundation of natural movement, how to use your breath to enhance the quality of your life and explore deeper ways of connecting with nature and the elements.

You’ll learn:

  • Natural movement techniques such as ground movement, crawling, stalking, barefoot running and  how to move more efficiently in nature.
  • Breath work and how you can use your breath to enhance the day-to-day quality of your life, come into deeper states of relaxation and create energy, clarity and focus.
  • Traditional shamanic practices to open up and deepen your senses, to awaken the animal body and deepen your contact with nature.
  • How to experience life from deeper states of consciousness. You will experience a new sense of aliveness and rediscover the ability to play.

Shamanic ceremonies including drum journeys, fire ceremonies and a sweat lodge will be a part of the process. There will also be a storytelling evening. Families are welcome and all of the workshops except the sweat lodge are suitable for children. The week will equip you with new ways of moving, breathing, being and meeting yourself and your life.

Tim Jago is your Shaman guide this very special week.

Tim grew up in the UK, spending a lot of time in the mountains and valleys of Wales. He now lives in the north of Sweden. Most of his life has been spent in nature, learning about plants and animals and finding ways to explore the human animal. About forty years ago, he was taught traditional Celtic shamanism and has followed a path which lead him to teachers among sufis, survival experts and yogis. Tim has been holding workshops and retreats in Scandinavia for the last twenty years. He is also a father, a poet and an ultramarathon runner.

Celtic sweat lodge ceremony – the Celtic sweat lodge ceremony is an ancient ritual of death and rebirth. It gives healing for physical and emotional pain, and often leads to deep personal insight.

The Celtic sweat lodge has existed for over 2000 years and has for generations been passed on to the fact that it is available today in our time.
It is created for mental, emotional and physical healing. As well as for spiritual guidance.
The ceremony is a ritual of death and rebirth. In the Celtic tradition, it is believed that all fear is based on the fear of death. When we are ignorant or deny that fear, different patterns and defense techniques arise within us that in themselves then create problems in our lives.
But if we consciously move towards the constant presence of death and let go of our fear of it, space and freedom are created. We can live more in the present and do it with the life we really dream of deeply.
In the sweat lodge you will be guided through various layers of protection we have created around the fear of death. In that journey, we can heal the trauma, let go of behavior patterns, gain insights, and leave the ceremony with an open heart and new perspectives on ourselves and life.
You can participate as a beginner and experienced.

Thursday
Water meditation. Time to meet the river, to feel the flow and to let ourselves be held. Time for deep relaxation.

Evening – Sacred fire ceremony. This ceremony is a way to share prayers of gratitude, to let go of anything that doesn’t serve us and to offer support to those in need.

Friday
Hide and seek – we put on natural camouflage and disappear into the forest. We put our new found skills to the test, stalking, hiding and hunting. We give permission for the human animal to come out and play

Evening – closing circle. We gather and share stories and songs.

Saturday
After breakfast we have a last little sharing moment and than it’s time to go home again.
